Question Possible new skill (Suggestion)

Hello folks,

Would it not be handy for a warrior (prim or secondary) to have a skill which would allow him to swap places with an ally?

Not sure if this would be good for the other ally, but it could be set so that once the ally's current cast/attack is completed - It then swaps places.

How often have you seen your monk getting taken out and if you could highlight them, hit a skill, and appear in their place, then they would live...
Hopefully keeping the aggro of the mob (or first skill to use being Cyclone axe to grab their attention).

The healer is then out of the way - And the tank, or ANY other class with more AR can then get hit with sticks instead of that ally.

Feel free to shoot the idea down in flames, or say it's been posted before.
(Had a search)

Thanks.

Uh I do believe Assasin has such a skill already. It allows you to cast it on your target ally just like Mending or Live Vic and when you turn it off you teleport to that target allies location.

Warriors should be up front holding aggro. Monks and other "squishies" should be towards the rear, out of (most) harm's way. As a monk or other spell caster I would be very upset if I suddenly found myself being pounded on up front while my warrior team mate was at the rear.

I can see where there might be times when such a skill was useful, but the majority of times it would just screw things up.

On a side note: Necros have necrotic traversal which teleports them to a random corpse. Limited but sometimes usefull skill. Fun to use in the Galrath quest where an able MM can teleport to the top of the hill and, with the help of some quickly raised minions, can take out Galrath without the hassle of fighting all the way up the hill.
